trouble flossing around prosthetic crown

had a cerec crown put on a wisdom tooth about a year ago and no
problems...had one put on a premolar on wednesday and tried flossing
around it tonight for the first time, but it felt too
tight..definitely less space around it than any other
tooth...something is not right and its scary to find i cant floss
around a permanent crown...i probably wont be able to get to the
dentist until monday...is it possible the dentist will have to remove
the crown and adjust it? btw, its a very upscale dentist with at
least 14 years experience...anyone heard of this before? anyone have
an idea what to do about it? thanks for any answers

If the crown has been permanently cemented, you don't want to remove
it when other treatments haven't been exhausted yet.

Just let the dentist check it again. Sometimes there is just a little
leftover cement that is easy to remove. And sometimes the tightness is
just temporary until the adjacent teeth adjust to the new crown. And
sometimes some adjustment is needed. We can't tell over the internet,
so the dentist should be able to take care of it when you see him.

It takes two minutes with a serrated lightning strip to clean out a contact
like that. Typically, a piece of adhesive is caught between the teeth.
