Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,  I work a half day today and a full day Monday here in my
office, , , , , and I am done.             :-/

It will feel weird to walk away from it Monday night.         :-(

Sold the practice to a very nice gal who should do well with it.      :-)

We are beginning the process of getting a second home "Up North", and then a
decent sail-boat to park behind the house.  The house we are negotiating for
has two extra bedrooms in the lower level for guests.   Hint, hint.
Houseguests are required to put up some nut playing the violin every night.
Want to go for a sail on Lake Huron ??     :-))

I will be working 3-4 days a week "Up North" only.  CEREC, Laser and other
high-tech goodies are already moved to the "Up North" practice.     :-)))

Email accounts will be changing.  My wowway.com account will stay.  If you
don't hear from me for a while, you know what is going on.  The regular
doc's here are always welcome to call my cell and chat.  WB has the number
if you need it.  Webby does as well.

I'll let you know if I end up trading in my Bally Loafers for Red Wing Work
Boots.

I'm sad that circumstances have forced you to make a change, but I have
a good feeling that if anyone can land on their feet, it is you.
My wife would probably enjoy visiting your new area better anyway.

Best of luck!

Wow!  I think I know how you feel.  It seems that we have both been taking
important walks lately.  I took the long walk away from my 38-year employer just
a week ago last Friday.  Therefore, this is "the second week of the rest of my
life".  It will take us both a few months to get used to the idea, but we will
survive, and odds are we will prosper.  Odds are, you folks will also.

We wish you good luck on your move.

Starting tomorrow, the Simon family is gathering here in Florida for the
purpose of helping my father blow out 90 candles.  We hope your father is still
in good health.

Hi Vaughn,

Great to hear from you.

Dad was up from Florida for 3 weeks.  His birthday is in September, but I
could not let his friends in Michigan miss out the chance to wish him a
happy 85th.   We celebrated his 85th birthday early on June 30th.  We had 90
people at the party, and there were still lots more people we could have
invited.  If you measure success in life by how many people care about you,
Dad is a huge success.  He flew back home yesterday morning.  Unfortunately,
I was very busy with the practice sale, with working two locations, and
getting paper-work prepared for stage two of an IRS audit.  I wish I could
have spent every single minute with Dad while he was here.

Your happy and sad faces say it all....those twists and turns in our lives
certainly make it interesting, exhausting, depressing, happy, etc...but most
of all...exciting.

I will look for the beach fires from across Lake Huron.

Congratulations.

If I get a sailboat, want to meet in the middle?

Ha Ha.  Unfortunately, I don't know the first thing about boating, so I
would never get at boat.  However, lots of Michigan folks dock their boats
at Bayfield, Ontario.

Yes!!!!  I did and, as *always*, it was a great pleasure.  :-))))

Mr. Webby and I hoping that we can all meet up again *somewhere* in the
not too distant future.  Time passes so quickly.  So, get yourselves
settled into your new plans.  2008 isn't over yet!

With wishful thinking,

Working in an office with another DDS means I can begin to plan vacations
without major worries now.
