There is the Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. We know the son's name is Jesus, and the Father's name is Hallowed (Hal for short) (Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name). So Jesus' middle name is Hallowed, or Hal for short and that is what the "H" is in Jesus H. Christ. When growing up and his mother Mary, was mad at him, she would call him Jesus Hallowed Christ.
