This was my original message: ============================ Be very careful about accepting advice from Dr. Chung. Evidenced upon Google are his attempts to mislead true Christians (either deliberately or accidentally) on at least two subjects. First the omer is a measure of volume rather than weight, so following his advice and using a weighing scale to limit your food intake is not based upon good science or good Bible study. Second, he has supported a scam created by Ron Wyatt regarding the Biblical events surrounding The Red Sea Crossing. When is was pointed out to Dr. Chung that the Wyatt "evidence" was dubious, he responded as though the poster had written that the Biblical event was dubious. She had written no such thing. These things are independently verifiable by reading old posts, searched using Google. http://groups.google.com/group/sci.med.cardiology/msg/56b2128b69da3c69 The above described actions are not consistent with those of a person guided by The Holy Spirit. Therefore what guides Dr. Chung is not The Holy Spirit. This message has been posted anonymously to avoid personal harassment. God Bless You ======================== Sadly, it came as no surprise that instead of acting honorably and issuing a retraction or correction regarding the points raised, Dr. Chung sought to cast me in the role of the devil and to distract by focusing on the fact that I had posted anonymously. My preference is not to post anonymously, but given the history of harassment extending out of usenet and into the real world of phone calls at a critic's home by supporters of Dr. Chung, I decided to act with prudence. Dr. Chung's responses together with his mistaking prudence for fear are simply additional measures of how far he has strayed from The Path of God. To circumvent further distraction, there are a number of terms which more accurately describe what Dr. Chung writes, "lies", "junk", "garbage", "nonsense" to name but a few, but I had hoped to avoid using these. The amazing thing is that the Holy Spirit uses people's Google group username rather than the person's real name - I would think the Holy Spirit would know that, but evidently does not.
