Making the results of all currently published NIH-funded research
freely available on-line is a good thing.
How do I know?
Feel hungrier just thinking about it :-)
Be hungry... be healthy... be hungrier... be blessed especially for
the New Years, dear Marilyn:

Wonder if NIH-funded research uses the scientific methods or
"discerning."

May everyone else have a blessedly wonderful New Years ...
... by being hungrier:

Hunger is wonderful :-)
It's how we know what GOD wants, which is what is good.
Yes, hunger is our knowledge of good versus evil that Adam and Eve
paid for with their and our immortal lives.
However, there are crazy folks, who have rejected this knowledge and
are perishing as predicted by the prophecy of 2 Thessalonians
2:9-11...

I must agree. It is irksome to know a publicly funded study
has been done and not be able to know the results.
I do wish more of the raw numbers and the numerical methods
were detailed in published studies.
What the world needs is more e-publishers that provide
information without charge for the advancement of science
and mankind.
Keep an appetite for knowledge and you stay young at heart.
