I was talking to a friend earlier, about my appointment with the
Pulmonologist this week, and how he was saying it is very possible
that, for some odd reason, my sinus node tachy is just some weird new
chemical response, or just possibly there for no reason.
At the first cardiologist I saw, they said that I had the
supraventricular tachy, originating from the sinus node, and is
exaggerated upon exertion. At rest, usually my heart stays anywhere
between 90 (very rarely any lower than that) and 120 bpm (though it'll
be jumping about, all over the place), but if I start walking or
stand up, it will shoot up to anywhere from 130 to 160.
as far as they know, all my wall movement is fine, no structural
problems (though the pulm. artery is in question).
ok, well i dont ever really recall it ever being this fast until
december.
now.. this is a far stretch, but.. is it possible, that if a person
goes through a lot of stress, for years, immense mental stress and
anxiety and occasional traumatic events (that is not due to panic
attacks or anything chemical...), could the heart just after a while
just "get used" to this type of physical reaction that comes with
anxiety and just... lock into that mode?
could hormones also be a real, legit factor?
again, all these heart symptoms and tachys have been made noticeable
to me ever since that horrible menstrual period and fall in December,
and also that very same time, I was going through a very nasty family
crisis which resulted in some obvious, streneous anxiety. with PH, for
example or even a PA Stenosis, would symptoms just 'suddenly' really
appear like that? over a matter of... 2 days?
as for the out of breath thing, well.. thats been there for a while...
im really wondering if whatever this is, is hormonally related.
whenever i get my period now, ever since then, ive been having very
strange symptoms. i mean very strange symptoms. that whole event with
my leg just went nuts right around the time of my period and has
resolved, well its still there but 95% of it eased after the last
menstrual thing. strange muscle spasms, nerve or muscle twitching, in
odd places, all the time, that wasnt really an issue before and
vascular things.
now on tuesday, when i went to see the pulmonologist they had me do
this endurance test and at that time, i felt okay. wasnt really
'feeling' any symptoms. could stand up and do stuff without any
pressure in my head or neck or feel like my heart was gonna pop out
and oddly my pulse seemed to be slower... well, 80-100 by feeling the
pulse.
but when they did my exam, my pulse on the pulse/ox thing was jumping
everywhere from 90-130, everywhere and then upon walking up and down
the hallway for the 10 minute test, just walking, it went up to 158,
then in the 160's. oddly my blood pressure was lower.. 100/70..
104/70 (or 60 something) in the other arm (I think?), i dunno, it was
around there somewhere. and it stayed low even after the test
despite my faster heart rate. but with all this, i wasnt even really
noticing any significant change!
sometimes im more "aware" of it, other times i feel almost like
normal. why the heck is that?
now, my dad.. he has skipped and extra beats... and some other rhythm
disorders, which my mom also has and i believe my aunts do as well. im
just wondering now if i just have just an electrical issue? and it
gets worse during hormonal changes and/or the stress id been going
through has just made everything worse, permanently?
nothing has seemed to change much, really. whatever it is, in that
regard to the tachy/cardiac end of it.. seems pretty much the same and
stable. its just not as dramatic and debiltating as it was in
december. weird...

No. Very unlikely for your reported constellation of signs and
symptoms.

The absence of a rise in blood pressure despite an appropriate
increase in heart rate with exertion is abnormal and would be
consistent with a vascular problem rather than an electrical problem.
May GOD bless you.
Prayerfully in Jesus' awesome love,
