I was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy in 10/2004 with an EF between 12 - 16.
Over the last two years, my EF has gotten as high as 30 (2/2006), but has
gone back down to 20.  I have been working up until a couple of weeks ago,
but my fatigue and dyspnea have been gradually progressing since May to the
point where I am totally exhausted by the time I finish my shower and get
dressed in the morning.  I was admitted to the hospital where they ran a
bunch of tests and told me that they couldn't see any reason for my
worsening condition (EF still around 20, BNP=233).  I was released and
scheduled for a Cardiopulmonary Stress test the next week (the earliest they
could schedule me).  I took the test on Tuesday, 11/21, and the key results
are VO2Max=14 (43% of predicted), Anaerobic Threshold=3.7 (11% of
predicted).  Due to the holidays, I haven't had a chance to discuss the
results with my cardiologist yet.  Research on line shows that my VO2Max is
right at the cutoff line for transplant, while my Anaerobic Threshold is WAY
below the typical cutoff (11).  The questions I have for the forum are: 1)
Has anyone seen an AT # that is so much worse than the VO2Max? 2) Is anyone
out there with similar numbers still working?

Yes, I remember your posting here a couple of years back.

Sad to read this.

Yes when someone is deconditioned from not being involved in a
regimented program of regular aerobic exercise.

Would wonder how you have become so deconditioned.

May GOD continue to heal our hearts with HIS living water, dear
neighbor Andrew whom I love unconditionally.

Prayerfully in Christ's amazing love,

As for knowing who are the very elect, these you will know by the
unconditional love they have for everyone including their enemies
(Matthew 5:44-45, 1 Corinthians 13:3, James 2:14-17).
