O'Donnell on ABC: 'Radical Christians' no different than murderous
radical Muslims

Neither O'Donnell nor ABC has apologized.

ABC's Rosie O'Donnell told a nationwide audience this week that
"radical Christians" are the same as radical Muslims who piloted
hijacked jetliners into New York's Twin Towers, who chop off the heads
of individuals and who bomb innocent children in suicide
attacks. O'Donnell made her comments as host of ABC's "The View."

"Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a
country like America where we have separation of church and state,"
O'Donnell said. She had been saying that America was attacked "not by a
nation." She continued: "And as a result of the attack and the killing
of 3,000 innocent people, we invaded two countries and killed innocent
people." Even her liberal co-hosts were shocked by her comments.

Co-host Joy Behar protested that Christians are not trying to impose
mass murder on America. "This group (radical Muslims) is threatening to
kill us." Replied O'Donnell: "No, but we are bombing innocent people in
other countries. True or false?"

O'Donnell was saying there is no difference between the radical
Muslims who kill in the name of Allah and Bible-believing Christians
who follow the teachings of Jesus.

Neither O'Donnell nor ABC apologized for the comments. Had she made
similar comments about minorities or homosexuals, there would have been
an apology, and she would have probably been fired.

The message from ABC is that bashing Christians is acceptable, even
comparing them with murderers who kill in the name of Allah.

Take Action

Tell ABC that O'Donnell's comments deserve an apology and a reprimand.

1. Send the email to ABC asking for an apology and a reprimand.

2. Forward this to your friends and family, and ask them to send the
email to ABC.

Be sure to say it is personal since the concerns you have are personal
in nature since LORD Jesus Christ is your personal Savior.

sensi:
In my view Rosie has a right to have her view.
I can kind of see her point. Many times Christians play the role of I'm
better than you, haha, always with that tone of arrogance that is no
different than the tone of arrogance a Muslim might use with the same I'm
better than you haha attitude..
The conflict is with "arrogance' in both sets of religions. Who wins when
playing the I'm better than you kind of attitude especially using God or
even Allah to promote the unnecessary attitude on both sides.
Wars are fought over who is the 'better man" with the best ideas of God and
God supposedly favors the man with the best idea of truth but turns out
truth is not about who is has best idea in all the land..  Truth is about
loving your neighbor, treating them with respect even when they are Muslim
and trying to convert them by telling them they're religions stinks only
adds fuel to the fire, vice versa.

I don't know if Rosie is atheist or not but I'm sure she felt a need to say
what was on her mind just like you say to all your adversaries, "May God
heal their heart," of which they're not that crazy about you telling them
their heart is worse off than yours.  See,you're setting up a pattern of
arrogant thinking on your part but you don't realize you're doing it but
it's *your* view of them.

The attitude of the terrorists engaged in acts of terror is on an
entirely different level from the "radical Christians" who annoy you by
their being open about their relationship with the risen Christ Jesus.

Actually, loving your neighbor is a commandment of the truth, Who is
LORD Jesus Christ.

Actually, that is my prayer for all my neighbors and myself.

It is written that being kind to your enemies results in coals being
heaped on their heads.

The coals being heaped on their heads is coming from GOD.

May GOD continue to heal our hearts, dear neighbor Sensi whom I love
unconditionally.

sensi:
I think what annoys people is not so much our relationship with Jesus
Christ, it's how the relationship
is often smeared like mud in others faces.
As far as terroist acts I'm not blaming Christians for that but I do see a
typical across the board attitude that Christians think they're better
people. God's chosen and when you talk chosen and try to exlude others it
only causes conflict. The conflict grows and grows into hatred, hatred
begets fear, fear begets action and it becomes a war of who is God's chosen?

True....so why is there the notion that you would be chosen as God's people

The blood of Christ Jesus offends many but it is what washes us clean
and makes us presentable before GOD Who remains quite angry about our
choosing to kill HIS one and only begotten Son, LORD Jesus Christ all
over again when we deny HIS crucifixion:

http://HeartMDPhD.com/Christ.asp

"These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have
washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Therefore,  'they are before the throne of GOD and serve HIM day and
night in HIS temple; and HE who sits on the throne will spread HIS tent
over them. Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb
at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; HE will lead them
to springs of living water.  And GOD will wipe away every tear from
their eyes." (Revelation 7:14-17)

Actually, it seems our openly demonstrating tolerance and inviting
folks to join us in our walk with Christ Jesus is what is causing
conflict.

We know who are GOD's chosen people by the unconditional love that they
have even for their enemies. This is undeniable and obvious to the most
casual observer.

The big 'E' is a prisoner of semantics. This is because he can make no
sense of the human condition due to his personality disorder. A sort of
'Mr Ripley finds religion'.

The reason is we have two opposing beliefs, one is propagated by an extremely
rich and powerful nation supported by many other countries with the same
religion who are also rich.

The other religion exists mainly in poor third world countries.

The issue is simply a case of envy of one side by the other.

Nothing new of course - we humans have been killing each other over
'possessions' since we were cave dwellers.  [We had our gods back then of
course, simple little images crudely carved out of wood and propped up in a
corner to frighten away the evil spirits.]

Nothing changes much does it?  In fact i doubt it will change until we wipe out
half of humanity in the name of our imaginary gods using nuclear weapons.

Perhaps a million or so years later the chimps will learn to talk using a
simple language.
Then WATCH OUT for the first chimp god - looking remarkably chimplike !

Arrogant bullshit, the only ever *command* was given by an early human, no gods
of any kind involved since thet are ALL a figments of human imagination.

Well if one takes into consideration that some "Christians"
await the following:

Revelation 9
15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared
for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay
the third part of men.

Because the Bible *says so*!

Strange, have I said something about our will?

And yes if you want to *talk* about my will, I wouldn't want to
kill people simply because they don't know, love or believe me,
like a lot of people don't KNOW, believe in and LOVE God.

If I would go and kill a certain cardiologist from Atlanta, our

Your thought about killing me is forgiven as far as I am concerned.
Many thanks and much praise and all the glory to GOD for keeping you

Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave
unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly
come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his
servant John:

:-)

You notice the chain, "Dr Hilarious"?

First step:
God gave the revelation to Jesus;

Second step: Jesus passes it on to an Angel;

Third step: the Angel appears to John, telling him the words of
Jesus and God.

Ah "Dr Hilarious" don't need to worry that I might miss the way.....

It remains my choice to refrain from judging others per the kind and
helpful suggestion of LORD Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:1-2)

This serves to show that GOD remains sovereign over all things.

The written Word of GOD does not place limits on GOD's authority.

"And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a

It is now clear that an evil spirit guides you and not the Holy Spirit.

Your evil spirit wishes for the Holy Spirit to reveal what is sealed in
order to prevent its prophesied destruction by subverting GOD's master
plan.

For which you haven't provided any evidence that he/she/it is

Secondly you still haven't refuted the opening statement....

See this is why you are mistaken yet again.
But I see some of the *results* of *YOUR* faith, and in fact
you aren't so different from those who don't have faith.

Besides as I told you, I have faith that God *IS*, he is the
