I took an interest in this group as it related to cardiology and seemed
to have a high volume of posts. I've been lurking for a while.

What did i find?
One of the most (in my experienced) prolific usenet spammers: Andrew B.
Chung, MD/PhD

It amazes me that a colleague has the time to post incessantly (not to
mention completely off topic/spam) - does this man never go to work? or
even sleep?

Sadly this idiotic posting has reduced this discussion group to
rubble... the few times there is a post not related to Andrew B. Chung,
MD/PhD, you can guarantee it will spawn one. No intelligent discussion
can be had at all from this :(

It's a pity a colleague feels he has to behave in such an inflammatory
way. I guess it would be too much to all just to focus on the topic of
cardiology.

Why not move theology discussions to a different forum and make this an
interesting usenet group on *cardiology* ?

Belive me, stam, we have been trying to get the kook off of the road,
and trying to square with s.m.c :) If you are a fellow doctor, maybe
you can assist us in getting this nut into where he belongs - in a
insane asylum somewhere in the shithole of Georgia.

After all the ridiculous spam I've seen in the last few weeks, I'd be
more than happy to help, but I don't practice in the USA.
Plus, given the volume of this individuals responses, I very much doubt
that he has a thriving practice somewhere as he simply would not the
time to spam like this.
Given this and the nature of Usenet, I doubt there is much any one can
do to stop this, apart from appeal to any sense of decency (stop
laughing now :)

Not surprising.  Here in the USA, about 85% of physicians reportedly
believe in GOD.

The LORD gives time to those whom HE blesses.

In truth, most assuredly, I know the LORD GOD Almighty to be kind,
just, and right.

Without the LORD, there can be no sense of decency.

May you receive the LORD's peace someday, dear Stam whom I love, in the
holy name of GOD's one and only begotten Son, LORD Jesus Christ, Who
chose to suffer terribly and die horribly on the cross to save us from
our deadly sins.  Many thanks, praise, and glory to HIM for rising on
the 3rd day.

Amen !

I, for one, will DISAPPEAR when Chung does.

It remain my choice to continue walking closely with Christ Jesus, Whom
I love with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.

This is an open relationship because HIS offer of salvation to all is
an open one.

Just as light will attract insects when it is dark, HIS light attracts
antichristians in this darkened world.

Sorry the postings of the antichristians bother you so terribly.
Please forgive all my iniquities.

OK, I'll bite. I know you're playing stupid, so let me spell it out for
you even through I know you're taking the piss:

BOTH CHRISTIAN AND ANTICHRISTIAN REMARKS ARE OUT OF PLACE ON THIS
FORUM.

For clarification, no comments bother me and neither am i an
antichristian, but the fact is that this group simply cannot function
with so many non-cardiac discussions in it. There are other forums for
religious debates. So why don't you turn the other cheek and just leave
it be.

You are asking this sheep to change the markings that his Shepherd has
placed on his heart.

This sheep refuses.

Sorry that this will bother you terribly.  Please forgive all my
iniquities.

Wow, all i can say is wow... It's like being back at school saying
things like "I know you are but what am I?" as a continuous and
incessant response to name-calling.

Well Andrew B. Chung MD/PhD, you win.
I shall not be viewing this usenet group any more as (unlike you) my
time is limited and valuable.

Since you insist on behaving like a 9 year old, all i'm going to say is
f.ck YOU and sincerely hope that i don't run in to you at any
cardiology conference, although i suspect there is little chance of
that.

I have not called you any names.

All victories belongs to the LORD.

May GOD meet your needs by providing you with more time as HE has
provided for me, dear Stam whom I love, in Jesus' most precious and
holy name.

Amen.

That will be up to GOD since nothing happens by chance (Proverbs
16:33).

In the interim, you will remain in my prayers, dear Stam.
