Does anyone know how to get a moderator for this newsgroup? The ratio of OT
content is very high. Other newsgroups do not seem to have so much OT content.

By starting a moderated newsgroup.

Unmoderated usenet newsgroups will always have more OT content then
moderated newsgroups.

Now do you have on-topic question, dear Dan ?

I haven't seen any "extensive dishonest off-topic crossposted crap," so
I can't comment on your question. I mostly read his posts in sci.med
and sci.cardiology, where he provides helpful answers to people's
questions.

I have not seen any responses from him that I consider rude and
self-righteous. I think he's trying to be true to his faith, and I
respect that. I don't understand why this offends so many people.

The number of helpful answers he provides has dropped markedly since his
decline began around 2002.  Most of his recent answers have been in an
unending discussion with Kumar and have little relevance to the real
medical issues that come up in sci.med.cardiology.

Writing to a person about their "feeble soul" is something I certainly
consider rude and self-righteous; it is utterly dismissive of a person
who disagrees with Chung.

Okay, I'll delete the word "troll" so that we're not talking about
making judgments, but rather why respond to *posts* that appear
designed to *antagonize* you. Responding seems to encourage the
behavior, whereas ignoring the post allows the person time to
introspect on his or her behavior. It seems the more loving action
might be to resist the temptation to answer, so that the posters might
have an opportunity to find more constructive ways to occupy their
time.

Of course, this is my opinion only, and the choice is yours to make
through your God-given free will. I hope you will consider this issue
from a different perspective, however.

Where there is no judgment rendered even in thought, there is no
antagonism.

Andrew,

Okay, *maybe* I understand a little better. If you respond
non-judgmentally, through acceptance you may eventually bring these
poster's to Christ? I'm only trying to understand this from your
perspective.

Only the love of Christ keeps us from becoming stumbling blocks for
others who may someday choose to accept Christ's offer of salvation by
faith.

It is written that Stephen, in Christ's love, prayerfully asked GOD to
forgive the people who were stoning him (Acts 7:60).  Among these
included Saul, who would later become the Apostle Paul.  Stephen would
have been a stumbling block for Saul had he not loved Saul even while
being stoned at Saul's command.  Stephen was able to love Saul because,
in Christ's love, he did not judge Saul for his actions (Matthew 7).

> I'm only trying to understand this from your perspective.

He has no "insight".  He only wants to spam his bullshit where it's not
wanted.  Ask him why he constantly nym-shifts.  While you're at it, ask him
how many ISPs have dropped him due to numerous complaints.

Note the groups he's posting this crap to: sci.med.cardiology,
alt.christnet.christianlife, alt.atheism, alt.christnet.evangelical.
He also frequently crossposts to a diabetes group and a cooking group.
Do you suppose the people in smc, who are presumeably looking for
medical information and not religious indoctrination, appreciate this
nonsense?  He's been told repeatedly that he isn't welcom in
alt.atheism.  One funny thing is that he isn't as familiar with his
bible as almost all the atheists he's annoying; for example, his bible
tells him to "shake the dust from his feet as a testimony against us,"
and yet he keeps coming back.  His bible tells him to pray in a closet,
and yet he thinks it's a good idea to advertise.  He isn't trolling to
save people, he's trolling because he thinks it earns him points with
his sky daddy.

You sanctimonious liar.  You constantly judge others "untruthful,"
"undiscerning," and "with satan's mark," just to name a few.  You claim
to be truthful when your lies are well-documented; this is just another
in a long line.

More lies from Andy.  Provide objective, verifiable evidence of the
existence of "soul."  Referring to your web-based advertisements isn't
acceptable, because they have already been exposed as mere unsupported
assertions and wishful thinking.

He WANTS people to keep replying to him.  That's why HE started this thread

newsgroups that have been removed.

"Responding"?  He initiates.  If he didn't crosspost, he wouldn't be
able to feed his ego.  That's why he resorts to the typical troll
behavior of changing his name; to regain the attention of people who've
kill-filed him.  He refuses to face the fact that he has no objective,
verifiable evidence for any of his assertions; he merely dodges.  There
are few "christians" as dishonest and sanctimonious as him.

He can't.  His brain damaged obsessive behavior (and I mean that

continue.

He modifies his posting handle so he'll appear to people that have
killfilled his previous incarnations.  I've put him in my killfile at least
5 times so far, if not more.

I've only had to block him four times, so far, though I could probably not
have to craft a new entry for the killfile as often if I could get a regexp
that'd erase multiple nyms of his.

Non sequitur.

You've repeatedly demonstrated your lack of repentance for your
behavior.

Only the rude and dishonest part.  Wait, that's all of it.

> Please forgive all my iniquities.

If you were genuinely sorry, you'd make an attempt to stop being rude
and dishonest.  Therefore, you're lying again.

No, what's bothersome is your obsessive dishonesty and unrepentence.

Why should I trust you? You are a cross-posting troll and are incapable
of telling myth from reality. Trust is something to be earned. All
you're entitled to is the opportunity to earn it.

Agreed. However, it is hypocritical for you, a crossposting troll who
routinely writes off-topic spam, to request that anyone post on-topic.

So it has infinite meaning? Is there a proof of this?

Of course, it doesn't matter. The fact that you accept the word of a
book when it says that it speaks truth and that the thoughts of those
that don't believe it are meaningless speaks volumes. I'm sure in your
years of training you were taught at least a little logic. I'll leave
finding the flaw in your reasoning as an exercise for you. (Hint: the
term "bootstrapping" may be a useful one to consider.)

Who has written that you should trust me?

Instead, place your faith in the LORD.  Only HE can save you.

Name-calling remains a tell for those who have satan's mark emblazoned
across their foreheads.

To understand this, simply surf the link under my name.

Still praying for your soul, dear neighbor.

Prayerfully in Christ's amazing love,

Andrew

That isn't proof, Andy.  It's unsupported assertions and wishful
thinking.  There is a difference.

It's also written that you should go away.  Why didn't you read all of

I'd honestly suggest you forget this NG and find a legitimate
cardiology forum. Chung has destroyed this one with his egoistic,
off-topic proselytizing .
