Exercise, over time, lowers blood pressure. There are also many prescription
medications that lower blood pressure. A Dr. can prescribe these.

There are many medications available for controlling your blood
pressure.  You may need to take these lifelong if indeed all lifestyle
modifications known to lower blood pressure have been achieved.

Will be available to "glow" and chat about this and other things like
cardiology, diabetes, Bird Flu, the 2006 global earthquake advisory for
03/29/06, cooking and nutrition that interest those following this
thread here during the next on-line chat (03/30/06) from 5 to 6 pm EST,

Hi, Jaimin I was also facing the same problem . My doctor prescribed me
Aceon drug . It has proved to be effective .this medicine is helpful to
treat high blood pressure .It can be taken alone or in combination with
thiazide diuretics that help rid the body of excess water . It improves
the flow of blood in the circulatory system .To feel its effectivity
this  drug should be taken  regularly .even if you feel better you
should continue taking this drug . the following sites provides much
information on this drug :
http://pdrhealth.com/drug_info/rxdrugprofiles/drugs/ace1543.shtml
http://www.topix.net/drug/aceon
http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s485-s-ACEON.aspx
http://www.drugs.com/aceon.html
Aceon doesnot cure blood pressure , it keeps the blood pressure under
control .

In general diet is a healthier way to reduce blood pressure than medication.
The DASH diet reduces blood pressure as much as a single blood pressure
drug.

I suggest that you read these two books:

"Stop Inflammation Now" by Richard M. Fleming, M.D.

"The Salt Solution" by Herb Boynton and various other authors. One of the
authors is Richard D. Moore, M.D.
