OTOH if it takes someone two hours and 49 minutes to run a half marathon
(13.1 miles) that person may not be as fit as he thinks he is. My best
half marathon time was 1:45 when I was sixty years old. :-)
The Silver Comet Trail round trip from Mableton to Rockmart and back is
about 38 miles, build on abandoned railroad right of way which means
little or no steep grades. Many people who have built up their
endurance can cover that in ten to twelve hours, walking at pretty much
normal pace.
Will be available to debunk stuff as interest and time allow.

Running remains an opportunity for me to share the LORD with all those
who ask what "Follow me to Paradise" written on the back of my shirt
means :-)
And, when there is a lull in folks asking, it would be my choice to
sing praise songs glorifying the LORD while running otherwise I would
run twice as fast.
All praise and glory belong to the LORD, now and forevermore.
Will be available to "glow" and chat about this and other things like
cardiology, diabetes, Bird Flu, the 2006 global earthquake advisory for
03/29/06, cooking and nutrition that interest those following this
thread here during the next on-line chat (03/30/06) from 5 to 6 pm EST,
