can anyone recommend any links to glycemic load and glycemic index food
listings (preferably hosted by scholarly or academic instution?)  thanks.

www.mendosa.com has a comprehensive listing of the
glycemic index and GL of foods...... complete with
a downloadable chart for these foods that are
listed

The Glucose Revolution is a good book for
information on the glycemic index/glycemic load
