Hi I had heart surgery over 3 weeks ago, and am now on warfarin for the
rest of my life, I was just wondering whether being on warfarin if one
of the side affects was headaches, I seem to get constant headaches,
and having been to the seen the doctor he dosn't know whether this
could be a side effect of the warfarin or of the surgery, I was jusr
wondering whether this was normal, and if they would eventually go?

Also I have been told that contact sports is a no no, is there anyone
out there that still plays contact sports and is on warfarin, if so is
it safe to do so? And finally, I like to get my chest waxed on a
regular basis, would being on warfarin effect me from doing this?

Thanks,

It is not normal.  Would suggest you ask your doctor to arrange for a
head MRI since you have a history of playing contact sports which is
associated with head injury.

No.

No.
