OK, now what does it mean when your test report says "Left Ventricular
Ejection Fraction 76% at a heart rate of 97 beats per minute.  End
diastolic volume is 67cc?

Thanking you in advance for your expert advice......

I remain, generally where I am.

Thank you for the comment, but I have read some of the definitions and
have found that the fraction above 75% can be bad a sign of a serious
heart problem, although rare!  I'm 61 years old and a male.  Really
appreciate you taking the time for an answer.

It means that your left ventricle squeezes out 76% of the 67 cc blood
volume it is filled with at the end of its relaxation cycle (diastole).

Doing the math, this means the amount of blood that your heart squeezes
out with each heart beat is 51 cc.  Therefore, your heart's output per
minute (cardiac output) is 4.9 liters (97 * 51 cc).  This is a
respectable cardiac output.

You are welcome to the information.

In Christ's love and service,

Andrew
