Hello,

My son had his tonsils and adenoids removed last weekend.  The surgeon
told me that she was concerned about my son's heart rhythms.  She said
he had several PVCs prior to receiving general anesthesia.  She asked
that I take the rhythm strip to my son's pediatrician, which I have
done.  The pediatrician is recommending a 12-lead EKG.

My son is 6 and in good health.

Can anyone please tell me about the typical work-up for a pediatric
patient who has PVCs?  Dr. Chung, if you are out there, you may
remember me from Dialog - you worked with us as consultant for about a
year.
