I am a very active athlete, male, 40 years old. I recently started
wearing a heart rate monitor and charting my HR. My average HR during
my runs is about 150, depending how fast I'm going. My concern is with
a pattern I'm seeing at the first few minutes of the runs, where my HR
sometimes peaks at over 200 beats per minute. This morning it peaked at
208, and I could feel it "palpitate." Is this normal?
Thanks...Nali

No. Would suggest you inform your doctor(s).
