I have sane doctors that are not trying to kill me with poisonous substances or
torture me with unspeakable procedures. In fact they seem to care about my
well-being !! And, without two or three of the medications I take, I would
probably not be here or be bed-ridden at the least.
The drug companies are indeed international money-making machines with dubious
ethics, and I've had serious side-effects from some of their products. Although
probably a by-product of their activities, I have been lucky enough to benefit
from their enterprise. Also, I am lucky enough to live in a country where the
medications are available and affordable ( Govt. subsidies). This is patently
unfair, but the international lack of ethics and morals applies to our political
systems and not simply the drug producers.Strangely, I have great respect for
many of the doctors I have seen.
I know I am not the Most Humble Person in the Universe, but maybe I am the Most
Lucky.

Remember: an apple a day keeps the doctor away.

I don't believe in luck, Barry.

Would instead suggest that you consider yourself blessed by God in your
choice to be truthful.
