I started taking Altace about six weeks ago, at 5 mg. per day, and
last week went to 10 mg.  I'm having some problems at 10 mg that I
didn't have, or didn't notice, at 5 mg.  It makes me aggitated,
nervous, and a bit anxious, and seems to keep my stomach churning a
good bit.

These problems don't appear to be common adverse reactions to
ramipril, and I just wondered if anyone else has had them, and if
so, do they go away in time?

I previously had tried lisinopril, but it had the opposite effects -
fatigue, somnolence.

Looking for the Goldilocks ace inhibitor, I guess.

My  Doctor put me on Altace and it gave me a rash on my face, plus I didn't
feel so good either. Then put me on Solar
My pulsed dropped to 90 over 40, I could hardly move so he took me off that
too. Now I'm still on  cozaar and diuretic. I was already on that, but it
wasn't quite doing the job, but he didn't put me on anything else, so now I
know my BP is a bit high at times, but I'm trying to get in more exercise
and cut back the stress...Good luck to you.....Nel (I'm looking for that ace
inhibitor to)
