I have been taking Agrrenox since a stroke.  I was told that this
medicine was to thin my blood.  I am seeing a doctor in a few days,
and like to check how thin or thick my blood is.  What's the name of
the test?  What's the standard reading?

The doctor prescribed Aggrenox for me because he must have found my
blood was too thick through some type of test.

Thanks.

That would be aspirin.

Platelet aggregation.  This is not a standard test ordered outside of a
research setting.

Your having a stroke created the indication for it.

You are welcome.

All praises to my heavenly Father, Whom I love with all my heart, soul,
mind, and strength :-)
