So very true and logical.

There are hundreds of different God/relihious beliefs but no God has ever
shown or proven which of these are
true and which are fantacies. The evidence is that they are ALL FANTACIES!

Reading Bill's posts I find nothing there to suggest that Bill is in any way
hard hearted,
in fact he appears to be very much of a humanist.

I never cease to be amazed at how Christians seem to believe they have some
kind of monopoly on being good and law abiding.  What they overlook is that the
clergy simply seize on these normal and positive aspects of human nature and
rework them for their own benefit.

As for the truth in Jesus, one can't help asking 'why all this dialogue inside
and outside of the church about truth', if the stories about the man Jesus and
his father were 'true' we would all know about it directly from them, not via
those who have appointed themselves to speak on behalf for their imaginary god.

I appreciate that; I do; but considering the eternal tribulation that waits
for all unjustified sinners, it really must require an extreme amount of
selflessness on your part not to consider yourself in this short while
before your sentence is carried out.  There isn't any indication in God's
word that repentance will be offered to the acknowledging of the truth
posthumously.

Sort of close to an oxymoron there, since "agape" is the Greek word
for self-effacing philanthropic love and is used extensively in the
New Testament to describe God's love for mankind and the love
Christians are to practice.  It's distinguished from erotic love and
friendship love.

Unfortunately  - your statement has NO basis in provable fact.

That there have been over 28 Million named gods so far - and you are
picking ONE of them without any basis in fact is the only things that
is provable here.

IF there was a god - you actual chances of picking the real one is
pretty poor.

However - if there was a real god - (which cannot be proven)  - that
has all the good traits that you believe in - a sentient person would
have to believe that IF he even judged anything or anyone  (Which of
course cannot be established) - he would do so not based on his
ritualistic beleifs that actually have no provable connection - he
would do so based on the actual actions of that person.

A god of your choosing would not be stupid enough to judge a person
based on the number of times he can say a certain prayer in 10 minutes
- or the number of time a person attended a certain cannibalistic idol
worship ritual.

If he actually judged at all - it would likely be by the good a person
did in their life. All humans are capable of doing good - regardless
of whether they believe in gods or not.

However - theists do good for the least logical of reasons - either
the threat of eternal punishment - or the cookie of an eternal reward.

Non-theists do good for the most logical and pure reason to do so -
because it is the right thing to do regardless of the consequences -
Something you cannot say theists actually do.

At the same time - what I can say for certain - is that - since you
cannot provide any real testable and provable proof of your god - you
have no way of  establishing that you speak with any knowledge or
actually for any god - so what you say is just the unsupportable
rantings of a deluded theist who thinks he can speak for a god.

Like businesses and governments, religions all want more power, control and
money and make promises of good and threats  of bad to do it.
