My husband has chronic afib.  It cannot be stabilized so he takes
Coumadin daily.  He also had quadruple bypass 4 years ago.  He
recently had a stress test, echo cardiogram and EKG which look OK.

He'd been coughing for about 5 months.  Nobody could figure out why.
Anything serious was ruled out so it was left along.  Then my husband
went to the cardiologist for a regular checkup and was told he should
take Aldactone 12.5 mg daily, and Lasix when his weight goes up.  As
soon as he started the Aldactone the cough stopped.  It's been
replaced by a very runny nose and lots of mucous in his throat.

What could the cough have been from if it responded to Aldactone this
way?

Possibly from congestive heart failure.

May you and other dear neighbors, friends, and brethren have a
blessedly wonderful 2008th year since the birth of our LORD Jesus
Christ as our Messiah, the Son of Man ...

... by being hungrier:

Hunger is wonderful ! ! !

It's how we know the answer to the question "What does Jesus
want?" (WDJW):

Yes, hunger is our knowledge of good versus evil that Adam and Eve
paid for with their and our immortal lives:

"Blessed are you who hunger NOW...

... for you will be satisfied." -- LORD Jesus Christ (Luke 6:21)

Amen.

Here is a Spirit-guided exegesis of Luke 6:21 given in hopes of
promoting much greater understanding:
