Vestigial Organs

Some structures in humans were once thought to have no function but to
have been derived from functioning organs in claimed evolutionary
ancestors (a). They were called vestigial organs. As medical knowledge
has increased, at least some function has been discovered for all
alleged vestigial organs (b). For example, the human appendix was once
considered a useless remnant from our evolutionary past. The appendix
seems to play a role in antibody production and protects part of the
intestine from infections and tumor growths (c). Indeed, the absence
of true vestigial organs implies evolution never happened.

a.    “The existence of functionless ‘vestigial organs’ was presented by
Darwin, and is often cited by current biology textbooks, as part of
the evidence for evolution. ... An analysis of the difficulties in
unambiguously identifying functionless structures and an analysis of
the nature of the argument, leads to the conclusion that ‘vestigial
organs’ provide no evidence for evolutionary theory.” S. R. Scadding,
“Do ‘Vestigial Organs’ Provide Evidence for Evolution?” Evolutionary
Theory, Vol. 5, No. 3, May 1981, p. 173.

b.    Jerry Bergman and George Howe, “Vestigial Organs” Are Fully
Functional (Terre Haute, Indiana: Creation Research Society Books,
1990).

c.    “The appendix is not generally credited with substantial function.
However, current evidence tends to involve it in the immunologic
mechanism.” Gordon McHardy, “The Appendix,” Gastroenterology, Vol. 4,
editor J. Edward Berk (Philadelphia: W. B. Saunders Co., 1985), p.
2609.

“Thus, although scientists have long discounted the human appendix as
a vestigial organ, a growing quantity of evidence indicates that the
appendix does in fact have a significant function as a part of the
body’s immune system.”  N. Roberts, “Does the Appendix Serve a Purpose
in Any Animal?” Scientific American, Vol. 285, November 2001, p. 96.

Ok.

Creation is not science, which is man-made.

Creation is fact because LORD Almighty GOD the Creator remains the
Author of all reality.

Don't believe this?

Simply try to publicly say "Jesus is LORD" and then try to publicly
explain why you (and other non-christians) can not do it without
referring to GOD.

"...no one can say, 'Jesus is LORD,' except by the Holy Spirit." (1
Corinthians 12:3)

NO.

Your father got excited, penetrated your mother's vagina, thereby
ejaculating and releasing his load into her.  One of the million sperm
released into her orifice found its way to her ovum, fertilizing it, forming
a zygote, which further underwent mitotic divisions. yada yada and now here
you are.

Don't believe this, CCT?

Uh ah, Chungster. You know the rules.
First, prove this 'god' of yours exists, then you can have him explain
himself.
Until then, no thanks.

Since we do not know precisely how this universe came to be the way it
is (was there anything before the "big bang"), we have no reason to
suppose anything was created at all rather than just being transmuted
from some other, and to us still inacessible, form.

And even if the big bang was Creation, it may be that any extant gods
are a consequence, rather than a cause, of that creation.

Neither logic nor science supports your religion.

I can say Jesus is a fraud. I can say Jesus suck rocks. In
public even.

By your reasoning, because I can say those things in public they
must be true.

Bub, the reason we can't say explain Jesus without mentioning
Dog, is not because he IS lord, but because you have defined him
as the son of Dog.

So you can lie.

Now explain why you can not speak the truth by publicly saying "Jesus
is LORD."

There is only one rational explanation why non-christians universally
are unable to publicly say "Jesus is LORD" and this is as written in
the Bible:

"...no one can say, 'Jesus is LORD,' except by the Holy Spirit." (1
Corinthians 12:3)

I just said "Jesus is lord" three more times just for you, Chungky.

The "publicly" bit? That's still you claiming you outrank your god by editing
"his word".

Medicine is a science. Are you ready to renounce your medical
training? Ready to admit your entire life previous to this moment was
just a lie? Ready to recant your preposterous desires to understand
the mysteries of the human body? Ready to admit that your insipid
"advice" about diet and lifestyle has no basis in fact?

Andy, are you ready to finally admit that you *cannot* be a doctor in
any modern usage of the word, and serve your LORD at the same time?

Why bother? There is no evidence such a creature exists. There is an
increasing amount of evidence that such a creature is not required for
existence. Your beloved Emory University professors should have
prepared you for this truth.

If I say "Jesus is LORD" three times while looking into a mirror will
he appear and dismember me? (Or maybe he'll give me candy--that would

Jesus is not Christian but rather He is the Christ (Messiah) of GOD.

"... no one can say 'Jesus is LORD' except by the Holy Spirit." (1 Cor
12:3)

Amen.
