May dear neighbors, friends, and brethren have a blessedly wonderful
2008th year since the birth of our LORD Jesus Christ as our Messiah,
the Son of Man ...

... by being hungrier:

http://groups.google.com/group/sci.med.cardiology/msg/f891e617d10bd689?

Hunger is wonderful ! ! !

It's how we know what GOD desires, which is all that is good.

Yes, hunger is our knowledge of good versus evil that Adam and Eve
paid for with their and our immortal lives.

"Blessed are you who hunger NOW...

... for you will be satisfied." -- LORD Jesus Christ (Luke 6:21)

Amen.

Here is a Spirit-guided exegesis of Luke 6:21 given in hopes of
promoting much greater understanding:

Be hungrier, which is healthier.

Marana tha

Prayerfully in the awesome name of our Messiah, LORD Jesus Christ,

Andrew <><

Our armchair dietition opines:

     > I have lost over 50 lbs. down to about 170lbs. (which everyone
seems
     > to think is just amazing). But I still have a lot of belly fat in
my
     > opinion. My waist circumference when measured around the navel is
     > about 36 inches. I want to get it down to at least 32 inches or
     less.
     > I have put myself on a strict diet of a small orange and small
     banana
     > for breakfast. Spinach salad with a dab of canola oil and vinegar
     for
     > lunch. And 4 oz. of salmon with about 8 oz (one half of a can of
no
     > salt added green beans) for dinner. This does not deviate much
from
     my
     > regular diet over the past 16 months, other than the more
restricted
     > amounts and the elimination of breads, grains and starches.
Although
     I
     > think I might include 3 or 4 tablespoons of raw oatmeal for
     breakfast
     > as well. My cholesterol is down from 210 to 130 from a year ago
(my
     > LDL is below minimum at 63). My biggest obstacle is hypertension.
     Even
     > though my current readings are OK at around 120/65 (used to be
like
     > 160/90), I'm still on Avilide 300/12.5, which I want to get off of
     > altogether. Hypertension is extremely prevalent in both father's
and
     > mother's family history. I feel confident that if I eliminate all
     > excess belly fat (my last ounce of excess fat will be in my belly)
I
     > can bring my BP to something like 115/60, without the aid of
     > medication. That's my goal anyway. I exercise all day long. In a
10
     > hr. period I do over 200 push ups (8 to 10 sets of 25 to 30) 800
to
     > 1000 jumping jacks / star jumps (8 to 10 sets of 100) and then
spend
     > one hour on both the treadmill and resistance machine. In addition
I
     > also work out with resistance bands everyday and weight lift some
     days"

Truth:

All of which is about as far from the two pound diet, aka 2 pd etc. as one
can get.  He eats nothing like two pounds and does intense exercise.  The
latter ignored if not pooh poohed by the two pound diet's inventer.

Exercise selectively reduces the belly fat and along with a calorie
restriction he has lost weight..  Good for him.

The two pound diet, aka 2 pd etc. is trash science which violates God's
laws of energy and human metabolism.

God bless.
