"In a multivariate analysis, plasma adiponectin, AD, and visceral adipose tissue (VAT) independently predicted IHL. Low insulin-mediated glucose disposal was associated with low plasma adiponectin (P = 0.02) and high IHL (P = 0.0003), SAT (P = 0.02), and VAT (P = 0.04). High IHL was the only predictor of reduced insulin-mediated suppression of hepatic glucose production (P = 0.02) and the only independent predictor of insulin-mediated glucose disposal in a multivariate analysis."

Comment:

VAT (with NAFLD) is clearly the cause of IR/MetS so that it remains much smarter to simply choose to eat less, down to the right amount to lose the VAT by backtracking the way it arose:

Life in industrialized countries is essentially life in blessed feed lots.

May dear neighbors, friends, and brethren have a blessedly wonderful 2008th year since the birth of our LORD Jesus Christ as the Son of Man ...

.. by being hungrier:

http://TruthRUS.org/KnowingGOD

Hunger is wonderful:

http://HeartMDPhD.com/Hunger

It's how we know what GOD desires, which is all that is good.

Yes, hunger is our knowledge of good versus evil that Adam and Eve paid for with their and our immortal lives.

Those who suffer from the powerful delusion predicted by the prophecy of 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 would deny this and perish ( gone !!! ) forever ...

"Blessed are you who hunger NOW...

First, I am disappointed that you no longer rely on discerning and the
scriptures for your medical knowledge and second,  how ignorant is the author
as there is no mention of Black Fat.

Are you starting to lose your mind?

Without a discerning heart, there would have been no insight.

Bottom line:

You remain the liar who is the source of all lies as described in the
Bible...

May we, who are Jesus' disciples, continue to rebuke you at each GOD-
given opportunity as GOD desires:

Oh no, you are the liar who is not truthful when you present articles in
Journals that you, yourself, would not use for your own wonderful, formerly
good, 2PD Omer Approach.

Why would you present an article which makes no mention of your great (think
Nobel Prize for Medicine) revelation (yes revelation is the word) about Black
Fat.

I am beginning to have my doubts about you.  Do not go and get all crazy on
me.

Whew - I see my fears were premature and that you are back to your good and
intelligent postings again.

But, please no more of those non-discerning scientific mumbo-jumbo articles
that do not even  mention Black fat.
