It would depend on the individual. I don't understand Memorial Day at all. It seems to be a holiday in the US rather than a sombre occasion. In the UK, Remembrance Day is marked by a 2 minute silence. Nobody would say "Happy Remembrance Day". It's not a celebration. It's a time to mourn with those who mourn.
