May dear neighbors, friends, and brethren have a blessedly wonderful
2008th year since the birth of our LORD Jesus Christ as the Son of
Man ...

Hunger is wonderful:

http://TruthRUS.org/HolySpirit/Hunger

It's how we know what GOD desires, which is what is good.

Yes, hunger is our knowledge of good versus evil that Adam and Eve
paid for with their and our immortal lives.

"Blessed are you who hunger NOW...

... for you will be satisfied." -- LORD Jesus Christ (Luke 6:21)

Amen.

Life in industrialized countries is essentially life in blessed feed
lots.

Therefore, it remains smarter to simply eat less, down to the right
amount:

Another problem with the crucifixion - rising from the dead - empty tomb
yarn:

In Roman crucifixion, the body was left on the cross as a public warning to
other people, and to punish the condemned person's family by denying them a
body to inter. Bodies would have left on the cross to be eaten by birds and
animals.

Sorry, but it's a made up story.

It has always seemed absurd to suppose that a god would choose for his
companions, during all eternity, the dear souls whose highest and only
ambition is to obey. -Robert Green Ingersoll

Here's another example of the consequences of following one's own
discernment.

There's are hundreds of thousands of abruptly very, very hungry people

Yes, GOD is blessing (helping) many people.

Truth is simple.

In this case, by wiping out their current food supply and "blessing"
the infrastructure by destroying crops, washing away seeds, and
salinating the soil, so that they may be "healthier" <sic> for years
to come.

Incorrect.

The ones that are hungrier (healthier) because of GOD's blessings will
live.

The ones that are forsaken by GOD so that they are anorexic
(unhealthy) without GOD's blessings will die.

Be hungry... be healthy... be hungrier... be healthier...

Such appalling sangfroid in the face of so monstrous a tragedy indicates
more about you than could a thousand posts.

Without the LORD, your opinion is meaningless (Ecclesiastes).

Just as everyone in Nineveh was spared when everyone repented upon
learning the prophecy delivered by Jonah that the city would be
destroyed, so too is the offer of salvation from GOD in this present
time.

"The wages of sin is death." -- Holy Spirit.

Amen.

My condolences remain with the surviving friends and family of those
who have died.

May they know that if they wisely choose to place their faith in LORD
Jesus Christ, they will meet each other again on the other side in
heaven.

Those who have already placed their faith in HIM, already have HIS
peace, which surpasses all worldly understanding.

May we, who are Christians, continue to pray for your perishing soul,
dear Cary:

According to the Christians, God answers prayers with Yes, No or
Wait.  Chung is using similar reasoning here.

Notice how, in ChungWorld, God so neatly sorted out those He
favored and those He abandoned?  Some villages were made
up entirely of the abandoned, and others without exception
of those he favored.

Some might look at it differently, and think that time and
chance happens to us all.

That's exactly why God created human beings.

Do you hate being blindly loved by your children?
