"Despite the fact that the ancient Jewish historian Josephus, as well
as other sources, refer to the crucifixion of thousands of people by
the Romans, there is only one single archeological discovery of a
crucified body, and this crucified body dates back to the Roman Empire
and the time of Jesus. It is not surprising that there is only one
archeological discovery of a crucified body, because a crucified body
was **usually** left to decay on the cross and therefore would not be
preserved. The only reason these archeological remains were preserved
was because family members gave this particular crucified criminal a
customary burial.
The remains were found accidentally in an ossuary with the crucified
man's name on it, 'Yehohanan, the son of Hagakol.'"
**emphasis** added to show that not all bodies were left to decay on
the cross. And, indeed, as written in the Bible, with special
permission from Governor Pilate, Jesus' body was taken down by
Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea for burial in a new garden tomb
belonging to Joseph.
"Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now
Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the
Jews. With Pilate's permission, he came and took the body away. He was
accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at
night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-
five pounds. Taking Jesus' body, the two of them wrapped it, with the
spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial
customs." (John 19:38-40)

"Forgive them, Father, for they do not know what they are doing." --
LORD Jesus Christ referring to HIS enemies while HE was nailed to the
cross.
> What would be the point of making up such stories?
No point. Only the truth, Who is LORD Jesus Christ.
> Was that part borrowed from a myth?
No. It is unprecedented.
> Did you find the myth yet?
There is no myth that can compare with the truth, Who is LORD Jesus
Christ.
"I am the way and the truth and the life." -- LORD Jesus Christ.
Amen.

It would have had to be the *exception* to the rule and he was being
crucified becasue the jews said he was a blasphmous person rocking the
politcal boat - exactly the sort of situation in which the authorities would
want to make a point by leaving him up there as a warning.
As usual, you try to prove what the bible says, by using the bible. And all
accounts between the New Testament books differ regarding the "resurection".

LORD Jesus Christ is exceptional.

He thought the world would be coming to an end, within the lifetime of
people he knew.
That's how much he knew.

The world as they knew it before did end
for some of them in their lifetime.
Ever heard of "born again" Christians?
