RULES FOR VOYAGE:

1.)  The boat is scheduled to depart on August 21st, 2008 at 4AM.  Your
flight from Hartsfield airport leaves on August 20th at 8PM to LaGuardia
airport.  From there, you will catch a 1AM flight to Halifax and walk from
the airport to the beach.  You'll have to stop along the way to pick up the
boat along with Mr. Shabbaz, who will be arriving from LA on first class, he
wanted to thank you for the ticket as you will be billed.  Failure to meet
the 4AM deadline will result in a fine of 20 dollars per minunte, paid to a
local Atlanta charity of my choice such as Citizens Against Quacks.  You
will be riding in te luggage section, this has been cleared by NWA as I
informed them of the possibility of disturbing other passangers and the
flight crue.

2.)  You are under the command of Mr. Shabbaz during the entire voyage.
Your weak constitution and combatant behavior does not qualify you as the
officer of this ship.  The ship's name is The Floundering Omer.  You are
required to salute Mr. Shabbaz and act as his adjustant, failure to do so
may result in disciplinary action taken by Lt. Shabbaz.  I urge you not to
test him on this.

3.)  You are required to observe all Muslim holidays as this is Lt.
Shabbaz's chosen religion.  It will be up to Shabbaz to let you know what
actions need to be taken.

4.)  You are not to speak unless spoken to and your name on the voyage will
be "Wanger."  No one will be calling you "Dr. Chung" unless you are in the
direct act of treating patients of your predicted epidemic.

5.)  No medications of any kind are to be brought on board, Lt. Shabbaz will
search your *luggage*  You are allowed a large backpack to hold about 80
pounds of food (all for Shabbaz-you are to find your own) and medical
supplies.  Sea sickness will need to be dealt with, it usually only lasts
for about a week and gradually disipates.  Medications for the journey will
be held by Lt. Shabbaz, under no circumstances are you to touch the
morphine, Tamiflu or other medications reserved for patients.  Doing so will
result in removal from the boat with a personal floatation device.  I
wouldn't advice this as the water temps will likely be from around 35-60
degrees F.

6)  You will be allowed one fishing rod (no reel) and will be expected to
use your dental floss as line.  You'll need to find creative ways to catch
fish and other sea creatures so start practicing!  You will be allowed one
butter knife for cutting purposes, I wouldn't want Lt. Shabbaz to be in any
danger if you decide to create a mutiny but again, I wouldn't test Shabbaz,
he is 6'7, 340 pounds and will likely be carrying his personal machete.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting
different results.
Albert Einstein

Notice that Chung doesn’t address a single issue he’s been called up
on. Change the titles on threads he post, he’s a control freak and
hates it.

Make sure and complain about Mr. Chungs spams to Google, he is only
doing it to drive up traffic on his web site that he is attempting to
sell for half a million dollars to Emory University.  He is spamming
us to drive up traffic numbers at his web site and will not stop until
we all complain about his tactics!

Anorexia is a serious medical condition.  Your calls (Mr. Chung) for
people to "go hungry" and to "be skinny" are criminal and I advise you
to stop this immediately.

www.anad.org/

and

www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/

If you or somebody you knows suffers from this condition, seek medical
attention and DO NOT LISTEN to Andrew B. Chung.  If he persist in this
continued action, he won't be able to afford an Internet connection to
log on and spam us with the ridiculous statements that are being
delivered by somebody that claims to be in the Medical profession.  It
is irresponsible to dispense medical advice without even knowing the
condition of the people you are delivering the message to.

See to it his license to practice medicine is revoked in his state.
Don’t be fooled by Chung! He admits to not keeping his state
qualifications and while he likes to post a link to “Emory Cardiology”
in his post, the site that states it is a “unofficial web site as a
tribute” and in no way is an endorsement of him or his standing in the
medical community.

Dr. Yamantaka Says,
He is already under investigation by the State of Georgia for reasons
of dishonesty, mental illness and inability to practice up to minimum
community standards.

Mike Mordant says:
Other authorities may take an interest in his business practices
soon.  He'll owe the IRS somewhere in the neighborhood of $150,000
and
$280,000 for his sale of the emorycardiology.com domain.  It may get
treated as ordinary income, not a capital gain since he "remains
lawful steward."

To that Mr. Chung’s web site states:

“after receiving an offer from Emory University for less than its fair
market value, I have been moved to put this domain on the market so
that others may have the opportunity to purchase this high-profile
cardiology domain at its current market value.  However, this
opportunity is for the domain only and not the web content.  If
interested, please leave a message at 404.699.2780 (serious inquiries
with offers of more than US$550,000.00 only).”

In other words,  Mr. Chung is spamming us on usenet to create traffic
at his domain so that he can blackmail Emory University into paying a
ridiculous sum of money just for the domain name. There is very little
content on the site and nothing of any medical value.

So, don’t visit the site.  He’s just trying to drive up traffic
numbers to justify the cost and that is why he is putting dozens of
stupid spams.  They have nothing to do with the Christian faith and
everything to do with his desire to derive profits.

Mr. Chung says of his own qualifications,
>  Didn't you take the required exam for recertification last
> year ?

No.  The board-certification in internal medicine was required for the
fellowship training in cardiology.

> Cardiology is a subspecialty of internal medicine.  The cardiologist
> who treated me for atypical chest pain is board certified in both
> internal and cardiovascular medicine.

That is his/her choice as it is mine to not recertify in internal
medicine.

Dr. Yamantaka also stated:

Chung, you have shown that you are unable or unwilling to truthfully
answer the reasonable and straight forward questions that I have asked
you to address. Any practicing physician who repeatedly makes the
boasts and claims that you do on these newsgroups would be able to
answer these questions honestly.

This proves that you are lying about your medical practice and your
claims, both by omission and commission. You are continuing to be
pathologically untruthful in how you represent yourself and your
clinical experience. This is dishonest and further evidence of your
mental illness and personality disorder.

Chung, you are not an endocrinologist. You are not a Board Certified
Internist. I am.

"Black fat" is not a term that is used in medicine. . You claim to
offer measurement of VAT. How is it measured? What units are used? How
does one know when it is lost. Please site evidence-based, peer
reviewed sources that state that diabetes is curable upon loosing
VAT.
If you are unable or unwilling to give verifiable evidence to support
your absurd claims, then stop.
His license is already under investigation. Anyone wishing to add his/
her complaints about Chung's unprofessional behavior and absurd,
nonstandard medical advice can also contact the Board. It can be done
anonymously.

From the website of the Georgia Medical Board:

What is unprofessional conduct?

According to the Medical Practice Act, unprofessional conduct includes
"any departure from or failure to conform to the minimal standards of
acceptable and prevailing medical practice and shall also include, but
not be limited to the prescribing or use of drugs, treatment or
diagnostic procedures which are detrimental to the patient as
determined by the minimal standards of acceptable medical care."

In general, examples of unprofessional conduct include, but are not
limited to, physical abuse of a patient, inadequate record keeping,
not recognizing or acting upon common symptoms, prescribing drugs in
excessive amounts or without legitimate reason, personal impairment
(mental or physical) that hinders safely practicing within the scope
of one's license or certificate, performing duties beyond the scope of
one's license or certificate and dishonesty. The Investigations and
Discipline rules of the Georgia Medical Board, (Rule 360-3.02 and
360-3-.04), also provide additional examples of unprofessional conduct
for which a licensee may be disciplined.

LAUS DEO – PRAISE BE TO GOD!

Most people are not aware that at the top of the Washington Monument
in Washington, D.C. sits an aluminum cap with the Latin inscription,
“Laus Deo.” I came across this fascinating story when I recently read
an article by Samuel B. Casey, Executive Director & CEO of the
Christian Legal Society. The following is an excerpt from Mr. Casey’s
report. I’m sure this will be a history lesson you will enjoy!

No one can see these words. In fact, most visitors to the monument are
totally unaware they are even there and for that matter, probably
couldn’t care less. Once you know Laus Deo’s history, you may want to
share this with others….

Laus Deo!

These words have been there for many years; they are 555 feet, 5.125
inches high, perched atop the monument, facing skyward to the Father
of our nation, indeed the Father of every nation, overlooking the 69
square miles which comprise the District of Columbia, capital of the
United States of America.

Laus Deo!

Two seemingly insignificant, unnoticed words—out of sight and, one
might think, out of mind, but very meaningfully placed at the highest
point over what is today the most powerful city in the most successful
nation in the history of the world.

So, what do those two words, in Latin, comprised of just four
syllables and only seven letters, possibly mean? Very simply, they say
“Praise be to God!” [Laus is “Praise be” and Deo means “God”] Though
construction of this giant obelisk began in 1848, when James Polk was
President of the United States, it was not until 1888…that the
monument was inaugurated and opened to the public. It took twenty five
more years (when Theodore Roosevelt was President) to finally cap the
memorial with a tribute to the One Washington himself thought to be
the Source of any nation’s Providence, particularly America.

“Laus Deo….Praise be to God!”

From atop this magnificent granite and marble structure, visitors may
take in the beautiful panoramic view of the city with its division
into four major segments. From that vantage point, one can also easily
see the original plan of the designer, Pierre Charles L’Enfant…a
perfect cross imposed upon the landscape, with the White House to the
north. The Jefferson Memorial is to the south, the Capitol to the east
and the Lincoln Memorial to the west.

A cross you ask? Why a cross? What about separation of church and
state? Yes, a cross; with as much right to be in our public square as
any of the other symbols that constitute and have contributed to our
life together here in America.

Laus Deo…Praise be to God!

Within the monument itself are 898 steps and 50 landings. As one
climbs the steps and pauses at the landings the memorial stones share
a message. On the 12th Landing is a prayer offered by the City of
Baltimore; on the 20th is a memorial presented by some Chinese
Christians; on the 24th a presentation made by Sunday School children
from New York and Philadelphia quoting Proverbs 10:7, Luke 18:16 and
Proverbs 22:6.

Praise be to God!

When the cornerstone of the Washington Monument was laid on July 4th,
1848, deposited within it were many items including the Holy Bible
presented by the American Bible Society. Praise be to God! Such was
the discipline, the moral direction, the spiritual mood given by the
founder and first President of our unique democracy…“One Nation, Under
God.” I am awed by Washington's prayer for America. Have you ever read
it? Imagine yourself…on top the Monument with the wind blowing all
around you as you read it aloud to anyone who will listen as you
sincerely pray:

“Almighty God; We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the
United States in Thy holy protection; that Thou wilt incline the
hearts of the citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and
obedience to government; and entertain a brotherly affection and love
for one another and for their fellow citizens of the United States at
large. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to
dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves
with that charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the
characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed religion, and
without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can
never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication, we beseech
Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”

When one stops to observe the inscriptions found in public places all
over our nation's capitol, he or she will easily find the
acknowledgement of God, as it is unmistakably inscribed everywhere you
look.

Laus Deo! Praise be to God!

While we may forget the width and height of the “Laus Deo”
inscription, its location, or the architects, let us pray we will not
forget its meaning, or these true words God gave to David, the second
king of the Hebrews: "Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders
labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen
stand guard in vain." (Psalm 127: 1)

[Begin]
Religious Significance of the George Washington and the Washington
Monument-Mostly Truth!

The eRumor describes some of the inscriptions and design of the Washington
Monument in Washington D.C. in light of controversy over references to God in
government settings.

This one's got many statements in it, so let's take them one by one.

The words "Laus Deo" on the cap of the monument-Truth!
There is an aluminum point crowning the apex of the monument.
There are four sides, each facing a point of the compass.
According to the National Park Service, the north side lists the members of the
joint commission that was in charge of the Washington monument project.
The west side lists the dates of the laying of the cornerstone, the first stone
laid at the height of 152 fee [stet!], and the setting of the capstone.
The south side lists the names of chief engineer, the architect, and some of the
workmen.
The east side simply has the words "Laus Deo" which is translated as "Praise be
to God."

Washington DC was laid out to be in the design of a cross-Fiction!
It seems to be in the form of a cross, but there's no evidence that was the
intent of the designer, architect Pierre Charles L'Enfant.
If one sees the layout of White House, the Jefferson Memorial, the Capitol, and
The Lincoln Memorial as the intended cross, it was not in the mind of Charles
L'Enfant because he proposed the original design in 1791, which was long before
it was decided that the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials would be built and where
(1911 and 1934).
[End, but there's more on the Web site]

AAMOF the monument was not built on the exact site L'Enfant had intended,
because the geology turned out to be unsuitable.

The "removed from where it could be viewed" rumor actually refers to a replica
on the ground level, which was moved indoors from a temporary site; the new
location offered less access to visitors than the temporary site.

Truth is simple!  One only has to look it up.  :-)

Correct.

Then the form of a cross has occurred entirely by GOD's design for it
is written that even outcomes that the world would credit to chance
(casting of losts) happens by GOD (Proverbs 16:33).

> AAMOF the monument was not built on the exact site L'Enfant had intended,
> because the geology turned out to be unsuitable.

Then the form of a perfect cross taken by the landmarks in the D.C.
landscape is definitely entirely by GOD's design dating back before
the formation of the geology of this planet.

That's exactly why he isn't practicing medicine anywhere, I don't believe
it's possible for him to open a successful practice or join a group of
physicians, no one would have him.  He has none of the qualities one would
expect in a decent doctor.  He has bascially destroyed any chance he had at
a career by spending endless hours (with a deep-seeded obsession) foisting
bad medical advice and unwanted and abusive religious messages off on this
group, with no concern what-so-ever for the opinions of others.  Those who
disagree with him are simply written off as Satanists, however good their
intentions may be.  Even true Christians have tried to talk some sense into
Chung, alas, he is not capable of hearing them.  He's too far gone.  Perhaps
his experiences in Florida and his wife running out on him (more like
sprinting) pushed him over the edge.  Whatever the reason, Chung has no
right to punish (and threaten) people on the usenet because of his own
misery.  Time for you to leave Chung.

If you are serious about your assessment of him,
it's time for you to leave him alone.

Be thankful for that.  There are many people who do not know how lucky they
are in not seeing him as a doctor

His reason is delusion and being a troll.  There are two others like him who
make up the Holy Assinity.

Any clear thinking person would head for the door after two minutes in Dr.
Chung's office, although a lot of people have blind faith in doctors.  Chung
is a perfect example of why we need to choose our doctors carefully.

Chung's holy a.s!

Speak your peace Chung, make it fast.  No one and I mean not one person
reads these links, so speak on it.  Are you threatening us again?  I used to
think that Thorazine would help but now, I think it might be wise to find
the best psychiatric hospital in the state of Georgia and check in for an
indefinite stay.

I respectfully concur with the above.

He remains ever so bitter for not being accepted by his peers.

Chung hears voices in his head which he has named the holy spirit.  Thought
insertion, thought broadcast.. etc.  Poor man.

What happened in Florida has left him deeply scarred; he used his free will
to run away from there and not face the music. Dr Frank Hildner's letter to
him says it all.  Not to mention his wife running away on him; not much he
could do to stop her.

This unmoderated newsgroup smc is all he's got.

Shabbaz is a doctor, too?  I'm sure they'll
find much to talk about.

Shabbaz isn't a doctor, he's a convicted felon with a connection to the
Black P-Stones of Chicago and has multiple felony arrests.  However, I'd
send my kids to him for a checkup before the likes of Chung!
