Hello,
I was reading with intrest all
your views on overeating.
I am an overeater, female,
and its strange, because i know
what i should be eating, but cant seem
to control my craving for sweet things.
I was told a year ago, to go on a low fat diet
because of high cholestral, but that seemed
to make me overeat more than ever.

Suggest you look into the 2PD Omer Chickenfeed Approach using the Golden
Bowl.

Unfortunately, insight doesn't change behavior. You know what you
should eat but don't do it.
I recommend an approach such as Weight Watchers. You can sign up and
get all the info on line or you can attend meetings. It can help you
learn how to eat healthy portions and reward yourself occasionally
with the things that you crave.

I haven't found this newsgroup very useful, but was just looking in.
A low carb diet often helps reduce the desire to overeat better
than a low fat diet does, and often helps your cholesterol as
well.

Cravings are from GOD and can not be controlled just as GOD can not be
controlled.

That which makes us healthier, makes us hungrier.
It is while we suffer from the delusion (false belief) that hunger is
bad, the we also suffer from the irrational compulsion to overeat.
Here is how to become smarter in order to become more aware of the
problem:

Here is a simple parable given in hopes of promoting greater
understanding:

Be hungry... be healthy... be hungrier... be healthier:

Yes which is why hard to ignore the smell of good fried chicken. Since the
smell of fried chicken makes you hungry, according to Chunk, fried chicken is
good, oops, mean wonderful, and it how we know that is what the Celestial
Chicken wants.

God says you're an incompetent quack who's no longer fit to practice

So the brain has nothing to do with it?

Even a clear thinking Christian would not make such an idiotic statement
(God causes hunger.) They would most likely say that God created the brain!
You asshat Chung.
