No.  There is also no other doctors who advocates that.  

Could easily test the hypotheis that 2 pounds a day works for a small woman
to a large man by seeing if they do the same.  

Could easily test the VAT hypothesis by measuring the VAT in people on this
approcah and others approaches - but need to know just how the VAT is really
measured.

All it would take is a doctor with a PhD with a large number of patients to
simply publish his finding in one of the established medical journals.  

You certainly have to wonder if a doctor, who is supposed to be interested in
helping his fellow mankind and has a way in which he strongly feels is good,
does not do the necessary things to get that accepted by the medical
community so that more of his fellow mankind can be helped.

Until that is done, Wiley, best to avoid it like it is best to avoid all the
other claims of miraculous medical treatment seen on late night TV and any of
the numerous web sites in the internet.
