That I did not have to come see him until next moday(6 days away). If this
is cancer, would he put off the meeting that long or is he just letting me
enjoy the holliday before he breaks the bad news to me? What are the odds of
a spot "meaning" cancer? I am a 66 year old female ex-smoker. I quit 10
years ago. I do not have any symptoms of anything.

Thank you

I would assume the doc has bad news if he doesnt want to pass on the
info by phone. Or this may have something to do with local way of
charging for a consultation, I dont know. As you suggest maybe he wants
you to have a  peaceful Xmas before treatment starts..
In any case I dont think its OK the way you are kept in suspense for so
long.

"Spots" on the lung are very common. Most of them are not cancer.
