I went to the doctor yesterday for a recurrent fever I have had off and
on for a year. She is afraid it might be lymphoma (cancer) I am
terrified.

I am only 33 and have a wife and a 5 year old daughter and a 4 month
old son.

I go for a scan next week. Please pray it shows no cancer.

My symptoms are flu like and fever that come on suddenly and last for
about a day then go away. My c reactive protein was very high, a 54. My
lymphocytes were low.

Need help and advice!

Hello,

no need for panic,yet.C-reactive Protein shows the presence of
inflammatory processes in the body, and it is not necessarily linked to
lymphoma. How about CBC?Was it normal? You don't say what kind of scan do
you go for,but I certainly wish you good luck.
