A small brown spot was removed from my hand on Feb. 5, 2005. The
doctor's office called on Feb. 14 to tell me that the lab report result
was squamous cell carcinoma. The office then set up an appointment for
March 21 to remove more tissue from the hand. (The nurse selected the
date.) Is this too long to wait (5 weeks)?  Should I insist to have the
surgery sooner since it is malignant?
Thanks.
