too many to count nodules"(all less than 7mm). The radiologist is
"suspicious of
metastatic disease". My PCP did numerous tesing (CT of abdomen and
pelvic, blood work, pap smear)-everything checked out OK. I met w/ the
pulminoligist and I am going for a VATS biopsy on Wednesday. Does
anyone think this is cancer or a lung infection? If an infection, what
could it be? It's not TB and when I type in lung infection on searches
I can't find anything. I have no symptoms at all.
Any info would be appreciative. E-mail is fett...@aol.com.
Thanks in advance,

Finished the biopsy and it's not cancer!! No work up back from the
tissue removed. Still searching for answers as to what kind of
infection this could be, any help out there?

An allergic reaction or an infection related to your pleurisy come to
mind. Pleurisy is usually associated with pneumonia, were any bugs found
in the pleural fluid?
Have the multiple lung nodules shrunk/grown/gone away in the mean time?
See what the final path report says, at least you're feeling well and
its not cancer.
