Excellent article about statistics from a Steven J. Gould who had cancer
(not PCa). He explains how it's possible that the statistics said the
median length of survival was 8 months, but he actually lived 20 years.

That was a good article.  Gould was a great scientist, a great
writer, and a helluva human being.
