I just came upon this announcement of Martin's death in ClayArt, a
listserv (email group) to which he subscribed.

I am relatively new to the group, but I followed Martin's fight against PCa
with interest. He was a believer and a fighter and he died following his own
ideas. I admire him for that. Rest in peace Martin.
