I have been reading this newsgoup since the end of 1999. There are many
loyal , caring, and sincere "brothers" here.
Berky was one of the very best. He was quick with his response to every
needy person who
was searching for help. Not only was he articulate and knowledgeable,
we must never forget his wonderful sense of humor.
I feel as though I lost a dear friend. My heartfelt sympathy to his
wife and children....May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Marty from Boston

I knew Berky. He helped me. I saved many letters and have them to this day
in the computer file.
I believe Berkard Maynowitz, (Maynord Berkowitz)is sitting up there and
laughing at us infedels.
He not only contracted prostate cancer, spoke about the disease in his
groups, and then fell to other options to try to stop the progression.
He was a guinne pig so to speak. He held on as long as he could.
He is a warrior! The Best. I love the man, and miss him. Hey we all die,
and so beit!

My rp was performed 10/99 and after a series of satisfactory psa's I
drifted away from this great group. The other day I thought of Berky.
Not a long or profound thought but odd to have it out of the blue. For
some reason I came here this evening to check things out .Why ? Now
its all clear. What an amazing and remarkable man!
You got to believe
