All great discoveries are usually rewarded with the ultimate prize the
Nobel.

I am suggesting that another prize be awarded for curing cancer or any
other major decease to save the lives of thousands of children and
even more adults who have their lives cut short every year.

It would require a web based organization to advertise for and set up
a data base of volunteers. The ideal organization would be the UN but
due to the nature of the prized that won’t happen.

Five of these volunteers would be awarded as companions to the winner
for a specified length of time.

The volunteers would be beautiful young women willing to devote part
of their lives to this individual for having put an end to terrible
waste of human lives.

Haven't heard from you in 1½ years, Ben!  Last I heard you had a
'detectable' PSA in March 2007.  What's happened since?

My PSA is still under 1 around .87 the last time. However nearly two
years ago I was operated on for bowel cancer; lost most of my large
bowel, wore a bag for six months. This week I had an ultrasound and
was diagnosed with probable cancer of the liver, I am scheduled for a
Computerized Tomograhy (CT) Scan.soon and then some kind of treatment.
I guess once you get cancer it never ends; at least in my case.

If I may ask, how old are you Ben?

Sorry to preempt Ben, but if I wait, I will forget...

Ben was 65 when diagnosed February 2004.  That should make him 70.242 +/-
.99

Often bowel cancer can be treated and when checked secure it may take a very
long time before it returns. Spreading from the bowel trough the body is
seldom or never (other way around is easier, from my PCa a metastase to the
bowel is a fact).
Using ultrasound to discover cancer in the liver is impossible. Even after a
ct-scan it's not sure. An autoptie is needed.

Yeah, that should cure it.

==>  I am really sorry to hear that Ben.  Are these distinct cancers or is
your prostate cancer showing up in other sites?

In any case, it has had to be a damned aggravating five years.
