RRP December 11. Uneventful convalescence.

During an office visit three hours ago, the doctor removed the catheter. He
gave me a pad and some Kegel instructions and sent me home. We stopped at
Costco on the way home and I bought a box of Depends. Just a few minutes
ago, I checked the pad and found it dry. I felt that I had to go, so I stood
at the toilet and WHIZZED! Just like old times!

I still can hardly believe it!

That's great! Hope you have similar success with your path report.
Best of luck,

Believe it, it happens.  Good work, and you are ready to move ahead!

That is great news!  I hope your path report and 90 day PSA are as good
for you.

I can't either.  I'm very happy for your circumstances.  That's usually the
biggest depressant for RRP patients.

I had the same experience.  I had dreaded the incontinence issue and it was
such a relief to not only be 99% dry (I still leak slightly when tired or
under stress).  I also found that other urinary symptoms that had come on
gradually over the years (difficulty starting, weak stream) had simply
vanished!!

Congratulations.  These small, positive steps are really encouraging.

Congratulations are in order - and you've got some very envious men here on
this board!  (and very hopeful ones about to undergo the surgery - me- on
January 7).

I hope I am as lucky as you!

Congratulations. That is excellent news. Incontinence is a major enemy of us
post-RP guys. Best of luck in all other aspects.

Glad all went so well!   Hope you continue to improve .... just don't get
carried away and overdo it.

Take care!
