CALCHIEF IS HAVING ISSUES.  HE ASKED ME TO POST THIS:

Something's screwed up with my newsgroup reader.

I can read, but not post.

If you think this would be of interest to the group,

please post it.

I can't remember it being discussed 9 months ago.

There are 3 or 4 more PCa-related messages following.

Thousands view prostate cancer operation via webcast

August 8th, 2007

One in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer each year, and
surgeons at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital hope showing the live surgery
on the web will help men and their loved ones better understand one of their
options.

It might have the undesired effect of keeping men from getting checked
at all.  I started to watch a RRP on YouTube.  MAN, that was tough to
watch.  Might lead to buyer's remorse for anyone who has chosen
surgery.

I still don't want to watch it, and mine is gone already.

> One in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer each year,

Does this mean that in six years just about everyone will be diagnosed
with PCa???
I think they mean somethink akin to "out of all men alive today, one
in six will eventually be diagnosed with PCa" or something like that.
