Three options regarding Cancer.

With so much 'business' in diagnosing, and treating cancer, are we
forgeting some simple truths ?

Having written many articles on the need to prevent diseases, I note
comments made by a surgical doctor, a  Dr. Gehman, in an article in
the Chronicle Journal stating the following.   “The answer to fighting
(cancer) is not in treatment, it is prevention,” he said.

Well, prevention is the best long term stratetgy, but their is also
another component, a third option.   There may be cases where a
possible cause of cancer, where 'cancer' is  a secondary symptom.

My limited and personal research suggests that there may be a common
infectious intestinal infection, that if they go undetected, that may
create symptoms and secondary complications, that may be labelled as
diseases, such as IBS, Crohn, Colitis, MS or even develop into some
forms of cancer.    Cancer  may follow  a parallel history to the
treatment of ulcers, that were once thought to be a neurological
disease and which were and are being now treated as bacterial
infections.

The logic of some diseases, and some cancers,  is that an  undetected
lingering bacterial infections or parasites can corrupt the bodies
ability to create and absorb much needed molecular elements, and/or
create toxins that when absorbed into the body can create a variety of
symptoms that we label diseases, one of which is cancer.

Therefore there may be at least three different options to the
solution for cancer and perhaps a great many other 'bundled symptoms'
we call diseases.   We can treat a cancer, we can prevent cancers, and
we can possiblly treat an underlying cause, such as an unidentified
infection, that may create cancers; this option is both a treatment
and a prevention.

I'd offer a fourth option for the good doctor, but it would embarrass
the Chief and kh.
