PCa took my Dad early this AM. He fought it for 11 years, most of them
good. His journey was one of courage and his insistence on not
burdening others with his suffering was beyond heroic.

Paul, I'm sorry to hear this news. Was he on watchful waiting for most
of that 11 years? I am quite surprise that he went so quickly after
the treatment he had in 207 and the numbers presented. Paul, can you
elaborate (LATER ON) on what he went through the past 11 years. Can
anyone else explain why this PCa is acting so fast with those numbers
Paul gave? Thanks.

I got the impression that these were "Paul's" numbers.....not his Dad.
I hope Steve K. has this in his database and can clarify it.

I'm sure that's right, Paul's latest <0.1 PSA is only 2 months back.

...so sorry to hear your news, Paul.
Heather - 07 May 2008 19:25 GMT
And our deepest sympathies as well, Paul.  He was obviously a very
special and wonderful man.

Yup, Paul's numbers.  Both of Paul's grandfathers and father were diagnosed
with the bastard, but I don't believe he ever shared their histories.

That's correct Steve. I don't have their numbers but hopefully I'll
never see the thousands that my Dad used to rack up.

Now that didn't read well. Obviously with my little walnut sized
friend out I shouldn't, but I'm not looking to see any rise :)

I could have wrote these identical words on June 28, 1982.  Knowing exactly
what you're experiencing, I grieve with you, Paul.
