If I posted this before, my apologies. My memory is sh.t, and even
shittier lately.
Does anyone have United Health Care as your insurance provider? If so,
have they denied coverage for robotic? Have they denied coverage for
anything else?

I didn't have robotic, but they've paid for everything, including 5
"second opinions" when I was first diagnosed with PCa. In addition,
when I was diagnosed with mutated PCa on my lungs, they called me up
to tell me I could go to any one of their 23 Cancer Centers of
Excellence around the country, and they would pay transportation and
$50/day toward room and meals for me and for a spouse or caretaker if
I wanted a another opinion. I've been to M.D. Anderson in Houston
twice and will be going back in June (I'm in NJ). There's a $10,000
lifetime cap on this program.

I had united when I had my PCa and wish I still had it, I've got
Schaller-ANderson now. United paid for everything except my Hotel
room. I live in Phoenix but had the surgery in Detroit. United
didn't care where I went as long as the Hospital was "in their system"
and it seemed that almost all of them are. SchallerA has been a pain
in the a.s as far as paying doctors and my current Uro is dropping
them so I don't know what I'm going to do. Good Uro's are hard to
find.

I have had United Health Care for years, before and after PCa treatment and
follow-ups. Never a problem.
