I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned this yet, but Dr. Patrick
Walsh was on the Charlie Rose show recently.  You can view this online
at http://www.charlierose.com.  Look for the March 31 show featuring
Dr. Walsh

My impression was that Dr. Walsh is a pretty impressive human being.
He is obviously an accomplished surgeon, but he pleasantly surprised
me by stressing the importance of preventing prostate cancer (e.g., he
knew the importance of Vitamin D).  It is incredible that such a
successful surgeon is hoping for a way to prevent the disease he is
treating even though that might mean the end of his prostate
surgeries.

I just viewed ths video. I read the first edition of Dr. Walsh's book
when doing my research on treatment options.
I did go with an RRP and am pleased with the results. I followed his
advice in choosing a very experienced surgeon
from UCLA for my surgery.
