Skeptic,
I have been on Lupron alone twice, and now Lupron and
Casodex once. My own experience has been that the SE's first noted were
hot flashes and some fatigue, but none of this really started until
almost a couple months after the first injection. The noticeable SE's
did not drop like a bomb either, they just sneak up on you, mild at
first, and then increase with time. I too thought of delaying that first
injection due to travel plans, two weeks in Alaska, but I went ahead
with it on schedule and did not have any regrets. This is just my own
experience with it.
Have a good trip, whichever way you do it.

Just trying to get a grasp on the acronyms used in this group. Haven't
been able to translate "SE". What is that?
