Researchers ID Promising New cancer Drug

Well if the Hot-Peppers don't do the job maybe this new drug being
developed will do the job called M-219 from the University of Michigan.

Thanks for successive posts Ron. In my answer to Alan, above, re your
first post (on Stat5 and Nestin), I also included a reference to
Ml-219,  because it fitted so well with the points I was putting
forward. This is just a note to round it off for this thread.

Solutions really are arriving at high speed.

Mike,

The p53 protein mutates eventually and the M-219 will become ineffective
by itself. There is another protein p73 that doesn't seem to mutate and a
combination therapy may work to kill the cancer cells. Look at my previous
post for the link.
