It worked pretty well. No headache, no blue haze, etc.
Happy wife, lots to do today.

Pretty well?  Does that mean "sufficient" or " could poke a hole in
drywall"?

Bev & all -

My doctor gave me a sample of Cialis.  Viagra has not worked for me,
neither did the Cialis, although it was more effective and those
effects lasted for a couple of days.

The Cialis gave me a dull headache that lasted for a day, also a
flushed feeling in my face.  On the second day the bones in my legs
started hurting.  The pain seemed in the bone and faded away after
about 24 hours.

The Cialis was the only thing that I could attribute this to.  I had
never had this problem before and it has not happened since, neither
have I taken any more Cialis.

Like a lot of other medications Cialis can have a lot of side effects,
evidently what I experienced was one of them. I would suggest reading
the information on the drug carefully.

http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic3/cialis_cp.htm (they mention leg pain
and back pain but not bone pain)
The inhibition of phosphodiesterase type 5

If you use phosphodiesterase and bone in Google search, the two have
something to do with each other.
For example.. http://www.ampainsoc.org/pub/bulletin/mar97/innovate.htm

or http://www.sciencewatch.com/jan-feb2000/sw_jan-feb2000_page5.htm
The agent (messenger) responsible for the relaxation of smooth muscle upon
which a man's erection depends is cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP).
Sexual stimulation causes a release of nitric oxide, and that prompts
formation of cGMP via the enzyme adenyl cyclase. Another enzyme,
phosphodiesterase, which occurs in several different forms, breaks down
cGMP.

Any inhibitor of phosphodiesterase that targets preserving cGMP as a
means of treating impotence needs to be enzyme type specific. Otherwise
the side effects would be a major concern. []

No idea what this means (in terms of why you had that effect).

uhmmmm.  I had pain in the lower legs for several days after the first dose
or two of Cialis.  No more since then...  but I had taken 20 mg for either
two consecutive days or skiping a day (qd or qod as the nurses write :o) )

I'll keep an 'eye' on that one and report back if I am so afflicted again.
