Pump?

Okay guys here's the problem. After all this time just about all the other
problems have subsided except one, erections.  Oh, it's working but only
half way. No joke, it only gets half hard. The bottom half gets rock hard
the top half stays soft.

I'm married to what I believe you would call a grower. (Sorry I don't have
much experience so I'm basing this on second hand knowledge. LOL)  So the
bottom half gets hard and about half way up the shaft it quits. It's as if
someone put a ring on it so it won't continue to grow. No it didn't just
happen I think it's been happening all along but the erections are more
spontaneous now. (And therefore more noticeable?) Viagra doesn't seem to
change the situation much, maybe a little. I'll admit it looks strange.

Here's what I think might have happened. Maybe during the EBRT some damage
might have occurred by the radiation bouncing off bone or something. But it
all went un-noticed because of all the other problems we were coping with at
the time. Now if my physiology is correct the penis fills with blood within
three main areas. One on each side and a third on that fills the head. We
know the head is not filling and the two side are only filling part way.

Viagra makes for a very solid base but he can apparently produce that on his
own. So if there is a problem with blood vessels my question is would using
a pump help to pull the blood into the remaining area? I know the body can
rebuild some vascular structure. So if there is some sort of damage can the
body compensate? I think it can. We aren't talking about arteries here just
little blood vessels. Beside I think this area is more like spongy tissue so
whatever is creating the stricture should be something that can be overcome.

BTW, my doc gave us some Livitra samples so I'll let you know how that goes.
But I'm thinking pump. I'm thinking this is something that needs to be under
the Xmas tree. Any thought???????

Absolutely pump!  The pump will make recently unused passages flexible
again.  It will cause more capillaries to be created.  It will force blood
into the head.  However, he needs to use it first as a training device.
Training his penis for the big day.  He should pump up daily for a couple of
weeks, then go for the goal.

I would definately give the pump a try.  I bought an inexpensive Rejoyn and
used it off and on about a year or two after surgery.  I did use injection
also, and it seemed to help with blood flow.  I had one nerve spared and was
similiar to your husbands experience....Medium done, not hard boiled but
......
Anyway with a pump you can not have to use the injection and do encourage
blood.  On the other hand when you get daring you can try injection.  All in
all it took ab out 2 years plus to achieve hard boiled and the use of Viagra
at first was a downer and now just 25 mgs is definately an upper.
Exersize helps..........I wish you , well,  you know what I wish for you!

You should check with your doctor to make sure something unusual isn't
happening, but the pump is usually considered extremely safe, as long as
he doesn't overdo it.   So it would seem you have nothing to lose by
trying it, unless your doctor indicates otherwise.
