The past year has been a real roller-coaster.  About this time last year I
was home recuperating from surgery and still had Mr. Foley as a constant
companion.  I've come a long way since then, and I'm thankful for all the
good things I *have left*.  Yes, there are some things that are still
missing... and some days are harder to deal with than others... but all in
all, life is good.. and should be celebrated.

While it would have been nice to meet all you folks under different
circumstances, I am nonetheless grateful for all the information, caring,
humor, and genuine support I have received here!  I have made some very good
friendships that I will cherish always!  So there *are* some good things
that have come out of this miserable experience!!

I wish you all the Happiest of Holidays.... and a new year filled with hope,
health, and much happiness!!

I'm off to visit family for the holidays, so won't be around for a few
weeks... just wanted to get those wishes in before I left!!

Ho Ho Ho!
In the words of Tiny Tim, "God bless us everyone!" :)

Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
